The walkthrough
An ISA-informed arborist visits the property, surveys the canopy, inspects root crowns and notes problem species, structural risks, and quick wins.
The soil panel
We pull samples from representative zones and send them to a partner lab. You get a real chemistry report — pH, macros, micros, organic matter, CEC.
The prescription
A written multi-year plan: which trees, what treatments, what timing. No mystery products. Everything tied to what the soil and the canopy actually need.
The maintenance
Recurring visits — typically quarterly or bi-annually — for fertilization, pruning touch-ups, pest monitoring and plan adjustments as the landscape evolves.

Every contract is written for your property. These are the rough shapes most clients fall into.
Standard Rx
Soil panel, two visits per year, fertilization, scouting, light pruning. Ideal for healthy residential properties.
Active Rx
Four visits per year with deeper diagnostic work. Best for mature canopies, estates, or recovering landscapes.
Estate Rx
Property-wide stewardship with on-call arborist access, specimen tree care and integrated landscape planning.
Seven things your bag of fertilizer can't see.
A real soil panel isn't a vibe check. It's a chemistry report — and it dictates every line of your prescription.
Drives whether the tree can absorb anything else. Wrong pH locks out iron and manganese — the #1 cause of yellow oaks in Florida.
Florida sand is typically 1–2%. Healthy trees want 4–5%. Tells us whether the soil can hold water and nutrients at all.
Nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium. The blanket fertilizer guess. We measure each separately because they're rarely all low.
Calcium, magnesium, sulfur. Often invisible deficiencies that mimic disease symptoms.
Iron, manganese, zinc, copper, boron. The actual culprits behind most chlorosis and dieback in coastal FL soils.
Cation exchange capacity — how much nutrition the soil can hold at one time. Determines dose and frequency, not just product.
Coastal properties and irrigation-heavy lots build up salt. High readings change the entire prescription.

Arborist visits, inventories the canopy, pulls samples from representative zones. Lab turnaround is 7–10 days.

Written prescription delivered
Plain-English report: what the numbers mean, which trees are at risk, what we're doing this year and what's deferred.

First treatment cycle
Targeted fertilization, root crown work where indicated, pest scouting. No shotgun applications.
- Month 604
Mid-year check
Visual reassessment, spot treatments, pest pressure update. This is where Active and Estate contracts pull ahead of Standard.
- Month 1205
Re-panel & year-two scope
New samples, side-by-side comparison to baseline, revised scope. The plan should be getting smaller.

My trees look fine. Why pay for a program?+
Most Florida decline is invisible for years. By the time the canopy thins or a major limb fails, you're paying for removal — not maintenance. Rx is the cheap end of that curve.
Isn't this just fertilizer with a markup?+
No. Off-the-shelf fertilizer is a guess applied evenly to a yard with wildly uneven chemistry. Rx pulls real soil samples, gets lab numbers back, and prescribes only what the deficit shows. You stop paying for nutrients your soil already has.
My lawn guy already sprays the trees.+
Turf programs are built for grass — wrong product, wrong timing, wrong root depth. Half the chlorotic oaks we see were fertilized all year. We'll coordinate with your turf provider so the programs stop fighting each other.
What does it actually cost?+
Standard contracts start around the price of one mid-size removal per year. Active runs roughly double. Estate is quoted per property. Every contract starts with a soil panel and a written scope — you see the number before you sign.
Can I cancel?+
Yes. Contracts are annual with a 30-day out. We'd rather lose a client than keep one who isn't seeing results.
What happens in year two?+
We re-panel, compare to baseline, and adjust. Most properties need less intervention in year two than year one — that's the point. The plan shrinks as the soil stabilizes.
